ThinkCash: PayDay One and ThinkCash Testimonials Q3 2008

Today and tomorrow we have guests in the house.
ThinkCash engaged Farstar a few months ago to create their corporate website. They told us they wanted to show the human side of their business. While pay day loan companies often get a bad rap - coming off as hard or cold, or inhuman - ThinkCash has an attitude unlike most of their competitors. After personally interviewing dozens upon dozens of their (randomly selected) customers, I can tell you that these people are truly appreciative for the ability to get short-term cash for less money than NSF charges would be to them. Yes, on an annualized basis the interest is rather high. But the bank's fees and late fees from utility companies and the like are far more egregious by comparison. We wanted to help drive the "we help our customers" point home.
We created a concept that would allow visitors to the upcoming ThinkCash Brands website to view customers' and employees' stories that revealed the story behind the loans.
The renovations on the Farstar House are almost complete. In the back of the house is a small studio that is the right size for talking head taping or still photography. So today we're getting to use it for the first time. Below is a shot of me interviewing one of the ThinkCash founders.

We'll keep you posted on the progress of the site and the testimonials, which will also be used in national TV ads.
