Stop guessing.
That is the mantra here at Farstar and I cannot tell you how genuinely exciting it is to be embraced by a company like this. To understand why, I am going to have to give you all a little history.
I was born on January 8 – the same day as Elvis. I have been reminded of this phenomenon for almost 35 years. You should also know that my mom's best friend since high school is Belinda Rimes, aka LeAnn Rimes’s mom. Our dads worked together and we all eventually ended up in Texas in 1983. We moved all over the state over the next 20 years until LeAnn and I headed to Nashville in 2003.
At the time, I thought NashVegas would be perfect for me, as I wanted to work in the entertainment industry. Considering that I now live in Dallas, you can guess how that turned out.
While in Nashville, I thought (guessed?) a role in the music industry would be the career path for me. I tried everything from merchandising to websites, and even spent time as a manager for up and coming local bands. Additionally, I was the Operations Manager for country newcomer (and now bona fide star) Taylor Swift. I had a stint as a First Assistant at the William Morris Agency, too. Sprinkled through it all were several executive and personal assistant roles that I truly loved. Creativity and assisting seem to be where I found my stride. But what about Texas? Well, that brings me back to Farstar.
After many years in the entertainment industry, I stopped guessing about my future and made the decision to come back to Dallas. This is a special place for me. It is the birthplace of my son and where the best memories of my life were created. My family, the love of my life and my best friends all hail from the Lone Star State.
I wanted to look beyond the world of entertainment to find new opportunities and explore my strongest skills. I know I am truly inspired by others' creativity, which lead to Farstar. I feel Farstar is where I belong – in fact, I knew it when I walked in the doors for my interview. I look to the future with excitement and anticipation (and perhaps sharing a plate of stinky cheese and a bottle of red wine with my coworkers instead of eating a peanut butter and banana sandwich alone on my throne). Thank you Kevin.
Other things you should know about me: I love to organize at an OCD level. I believe humor is the most important thing ever. I’m passionate about all types of music, but especially anything with more than 150 beats per minute (I like to dance). I also love Chinese food and trashy celebrity magazines, though not always at the same time. And I already alluded to my love of stinky cheese and red wine.
At Farstar, you will find me assisting Kevin, keeping house, managing projects and acting as the official meet-and-greeter, among other things. I can't wait to figure out what those other things are.

Rendee is charged with keeping Kevin on time, on task and on his meds. She takes over for Kevin's previous assistant, Wendy (yeah, no confusion there - Rendee, Wendy, hmm), who thought it would be easier to raise a kid than keep tending after Kevin. Good luck, Ren!
