Meet Jon

Hi, I'm Jon, Junior Interactive Developer/All Around Cool Guy. I'm new here at Farstar, having just returned to the private sector upon completion of four years of service in the U.S. Army, including 15 months of military intelligence analysis in Baghdad, Iraq.

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with the presentation layer of web development (HTML, XML, CSS, JS, etc...), best practices and standards (W3C!), which I feel – when combined with my computer science days at the University of North Texas and development on U.S. intelligence systems – gives me a unique background and knowledge base to draw upon. Working in tandem with Farstar's other developer/magician, Sean, we can not only build the architecture for anything imaginable, but also kill a yak from 200 yards away with mind bullets.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports (basketball, tennis, golf, etc.), watching movies, driving my Corvette at the posted speed limit, and pondering philosophical absurdities about the human condition.

Jon is, technically, our Junior Interactive Developer. But considering his advanced weapons training courtesy of the U.S. Armed Forces, we don't mention that "junior" part too often. But we do ask him what his major malfunction is quite a bit.
