Farstar Named as a 2008 Comerica Bank Collin 60 Award Winner

FRISCO – June 11, 2008 – Farstar, a technology-based creative marketing firm in Frisco, Texas, was named one of the 2008 Comerica Bank Collin 60 award winners. The Collin 60 is comprised of the 60 fastest-growing private companies in Collin County. Collin County itself is one of the fastest growing counties in the state of Texas.

To qualify for the Collin 60, Farstar had to show a 2004 top line sales growth between $250,000 and $20 million, as well as a sustained three–year growth pattern. In addition, each nominee hosted a site visit for the Collin 60 judges prior to the judging process.

“Farstar is honored to be included in the Collin 60 with so many outstanding local companies,” said Kevin Lofgren, founder and CEO of Farstar. “Our team’s creativity and dedication gave our clients great campaigns that enabled them to attract the right customers. Which in turn attracted more customers to us. We look forward to expanding our unique approach to interactive marketing and further enhancing the Collin County economy and business landscape.”

On June 2, 2008, the Comerica Bank Collin 60 Awards Program recognized Farstar and its fellow honorees as companies that are bringing new products to the market, bettering the lives of their neighbors, increasing productivity and contributing to a stronger local economy.
