Farstar Wins DFW Interactive Marketing Association Award for Most Effective Local Campaign
DALLAS – May 20, 2008 – The DFW Interactive Marketing Association recently awarded Farstar, a technology-based creative marketing firm in Frisco, the "Most Effective Local Campaign" Award, recognizing Farstar’s creation of a holiday marketing campaign for local energy-efficiency store, Current Energy.
The DFWIMA, a forum for interactive and marketing professionals, businesses and educators in the Metroplex to share ideas, information and best practices, announced the winners at the 8th Annual Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards Wednesday, May 14, at the House of Blues. Each year DFWIMA recognizes thought leaders who demonstrate superior execution, and innovation in the field of interactive marketing.

Farstar, who also created Current Energy’s website, designed a marketing campaign to create awareness among consumers that live in the store’s immediate area, located on Knox Street, and drive foot traffic to the store during the holiday shopping season.
