Meet Brwyn

January 14, 2008

Posted by Brwyn.

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Texas when I was nine. I grew up in Carrollton until I moved a few miles north to Denton to attend the University of North Texas. I joined Pi Beta Phi sorority and enjoyed many years of fun (along with a lot of hard work, of course). I soon realized I would have to join the real world upon graduation and went to work for Ford Motor Credit where I met my husband.

I then went to work for several technology-based companies. I also worked under the CMO in charge of new business and strategic planning at Publicis Dallas, getting my first taste of agency life.

I joined Farstar in the Fall of 2004 working in sales. Since then, I have worn many hats and now act as Account Director – a role that caters to my extroverted personality and bossy nature (which I reserve for fellow Farstarians). I enjoy working directly with our clients to help make their programs successful.

I love working at Farstar because we're like a family. We don’t have a lot of internal filters, and we can just be ourselves and respect each other for our different views. I enjoy having the freedom to be transparent with my clients, which leads to a greater sense of trust and respect for each other.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time enjoying life with my family: husband Todd, son Mason and daughter Sara. We love grilling out with friends, swimming, playing Wii, and watching good movies.

Brwyn leads Farstar's account management team, making sure we say "yes" when appropriate and "maybe we should try this instead" when necessary. Just don't ask about her name's missing vowels. Seriously.
